    Dd13 is really not liking this book. She’s read about 6 chapters. Any other suggestions? Thanks:)

    It’s slow moving, but the story does get good.  We listened to the audio book instead that we found at our library, which helped.  I’m sorry that I don’t have a substitute.

    My son also listened to the librivox version and liked the story, too. Also, many of JAcob Abbott’s bios for young people from the mid/late-1800’s are available at Librivox, too. HIs bio of Cleopatra is available and my son found it very interesting.
