My ds15 has already read Lincoln: A Photobiography by Russell Freedman. It is listed for 10-12 grade but I’m looking for a substitute. I saw The Day Lincoln Was Shot but am really not sure at this point;  I’m not even sure if that is the title.

    Help!

There is Genevieve Foster’s book on Lincoln as an option. It’s published by BEautiful Feet.

I think I have Abraham Lincoln’s World but I had not heard of Commander in Chief..I will check that out.

    Thanks!

I recently finished reading aloud Abe Lincoln Grows Up by Carl Sandburg. It was wonderful!

    I wrote a review here…

Abraham Lincoln’s World by Foster mentioned above is good as well. Also, we recently read an Andrew Jackson book by Clara Ingram Judson. I know she also wrote one on Lincoln too. If it’s anything like the Jackson book, I highly recommend it!

    Blessings,
