Are there any lesson plans or a sample schedule for using the “Story Book of Science” by Fabre.

I don’t know of one. We just scheduled 1 chap. a week on one of our science days as a read aloud and they narrated to me.

Just work it into your schedule as you like.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Queen Homeschool came out with this exact thing in their Discovering Nature Series. They have used Mary’s Meadow, Parables From Nature, A Nature Walk With Aunt Bessie, and a compilation book called AllNature Sings for young ages. They publish The Story Book of Science too so I bet it will be in the works. I have the DNS Parables From Nature for DD9 this year and it is lovely. She is very excited to use it after we finish up 106 Days of Creation this year. She is actually going to do a few lessons from it this summer as we can see more of the lessons up close in nature due to the season. But even looking at the samples of lessons in the Queen DNseries might give you an idea how to create your own science notebook from it right?

I am currently scheduling this for my kids right now.  I do not know of any lesson plans so I am putting it together myself, which takes some time!  I am looking at ideas on http://www.homeschoolshare.com.  I also found a nice weather site, http://www.weatherwizkids.com.  I am just starting this process but if I find other things that might be helpful I will let you know.
