State history

    I am wondering if any of you use 9th grade for teaching state history and if so, what resource you use.  In my state (WA) I believe we are required to teach it if we didn’t in 8th.  I had my kiddos work on a lapbook of wa history, but pretty basic. I believe we need 2 quarters of study.

    Also, did you teach this along with other world history or SCM guide, or alone.

    My dc are nowhere close to needing state history, so I don’t have any firsthand experience with this, but have you looked at http://www.statehistory.net/grades3-12/information?
