    My kids are doing state presentations for co-op next month and I want to have some original or unique ideas for them on how to present their states. Any ideas?

    They have each made a topographic map of their states already. But I would really appreciate some more ideas.

    Perhaps they could look up recipes for snacks or a drink from their state and make/share it?  Could they learn the state song and sing it?  Perhaps they could take about the famous people who come their state?  Are the topo maps large enough to add things to it?  If so they could cut out felt shapes of the “industries” that the state is know for (corn crops, car making) and attach the shapes at the right spot on the map.  How about a “Man on the Street” interview where one child asks the other questions about the state, they could dress up for this!  Make an 11 x 17 copy of the state flag and talk about what the symbols mean…I could go on!

    Yes, you can present the most unique delicacy for every state or, show the festivities :)! Just think of the most unique character for every state.
