After lurking here for 5 months or so, it’s time I introduced myself and said a heartfelt thank you to all of you for sharing your tips, struggles, and words of encouragement on this forum.

My name is Leslie, I am a mother of 3 in the Boston, Massachusetts area, and we are embarking on our family’s inaugural homeschool voyage this year. I have a 7 yr old who finished kindergarten in the local public school last year. I have chosen to basically follow the Year 1 HUFI curriculum on the charlottemasonhelp.com website for him this year. I also have a 5 yr old who I’ll do some fun and basic math and reading lessons with. My youngest is my 3 yr old, who will learn along with us during our family studies time 🙂

I’m excited to have this community of others to learn from and share ideas with as my family begins our own journey of learning together!

Welcome! Glad you introduced yourself. I’m in East Tennessee in my 19th year of homeschooling with two boys age 10 and 11 at home. It’s a blessed journey you’re starting.
