I wouldl like to start using this with my older children mainly to prepare them in a fun way for college essays.  I will continue to do AAS but wanted to do more in there free time, using Spelling City and give bonus’ for doing it.  But I don’t know how to start or how to get to lists?  Can some one give me some suggestions.  Thanks

Bumping . . . I know others have used this and hoping to start soon.  Looking at this for my 14yr ds in 8th/9th grade.

Have you created a parent account for yourself? You don’t have to pay for a premium membership to do so, and then you can create your own lists. The lists you create can be used by your ds to play games or study/take tests for your specific lists, and you have your own page to work with your lists.

Or, you can click on “Find a List” or “Teacher Resources” to find various lists already on the website, such as abbreviation word lists, compound word lists, literature lists, science vocabulary lists, and so on. Most of those lists are available for various grade levels.

We have begun using Natural Speller this year, but my kids like to use Spelling City a time or two during the week for extra practice and for fun. So, I just create lists on Spelling City from whatever they are studying in Natural Speller.
