Special Day Schedule

Hi Everyone!

Has anyone done the SCM special day schedule with older kids?  Mine are 5th grade and 8th grade. As our times have increased, my 5th grader is between 20-30 min on a subject and my older is between 30-45 min on a subject, we have a tendency to drop the fine arts items.  We also take field trips about once a month, both kids take a writing class outside of the home, and my oldest is taking a computer class.  So I was trying to re-work our schedule for our second term. Wanted to see if anyone who has gone before me found that it worked or did not work and what you maybe needed to tweak??
