Sonya…Curriculum sale question

    Hi,

    I am about to ask a tacky question. There are several items I would love to purchase from S.Charlotte for this next school year. They are not needs but wants for my homeschool and I really have to focus on purchasing what we NEED. Is it inappropriate to inquire if someone has these items used or unused and would like to sell them? Is there a curriculum sale guideline in this forum?

    Just thought I’d ask.

    That’s not a tacky question at all, Lauren. I’m glad you asked. We encourage you to “recycle” our resources, but we don’t have a good and secure way to facilitate that on this forum. To get in contact with a potential buyer or seller, you would need their personal e-mail information or other contact information that you don’t want posted on the Internet for all spammers to grab. Unfortunately, we had to turn off the private messaging feature here because of a bug in the software. I hope that’s temporary, but in the meantime I’m not sure how you could share that private info securely.

    You might check into the yahoo group CMCurricula. It’s set up for buying and selling used CM materials.

    homeschoolreviews.com also has a place where you can buy and sell.
