Sonya – your ebooks are so attractive, well laid out, easy to read and print. Do you use a special program to format them?
I know that an ebook can be made with any program, then saved as a pdf, but I am looking for an alternative to Adobe Acrobat to make links etc – I can’t afford it! I am working on a family project – a “cousins book”.

Thanks for the encouragement, Gem. I’m glad you enjoy our e-books. I use InDesign to format all our books. For e-books, I save the file as a .pdf and then, (yep, you guessed it) put them in Adobe Acrobat to add links and such.
Sorry I can’t be of more help. Maybe somebody else has an idea of other software that will do the same thing. Anybody?
