Sonya, book suggestions you shared at convention?

    Sonya, I was in a few of your classes at the Memphis Convention this past year. I can’t find my notes. You shared some books that were new to me. One was a beautiful ABC book and another you called your favorite new to you book. Do you happen to remember what these books were?

    The ABC book is called The Alphabet Room by Sara Pinto.

    The other one . . . I’m drawing a blank. Can you give me more info, like topic or something? My calendar journal is showing that I was reading The Return of the King by Tolkien that month. Was that it maybe?

    I was at that convention also. I know you mentioned the “Carl” the dog books in that session.

    Dawn – I checked my notes from the conference I attended last June (not the Memphis one).  The two books Sonya shared with us were “The Alphabet Room” by Sara Pinto (“The Early Years” workshop) and “Keeping a Nature Journal:  Discover a Whole New Way of Seeing the World Around You” by Claire Walker Leslie (“The Quiet Schooling of Nature” workshop).

    Thank you. I’m thinking I may get the Alphabet Room for my 1 year old’s birthday coming up soon. The Carl books may have been the other books I was thinking of and I realized I did purchase one of those for our daughter.
