Son adds details to narration

Many times when my first son narrates to me he adds in extra details. For example, today we read the story of Samson killing the lion in The Children’s Story Bible. In the story that we read it does not mention that Samson was a nazarite. It just mentions that he wasn’t to cut his hair. However, during narration my son added that detail in along with a few others he knew of from previous stories. Sometimes he will add in details that are opinions of his instead of something we read.

So, is this wrong? What do you do?

I’m not sure what is considered “right”, but I think it is great he’s making those connections.

I think that it is called “making connections”.  =)  If he is not adding in wrong material, enjoy it.
