I know they have been testing sharing of resources between people, and handling of different editions of a resource (as some books have different chapters in different editions…) – but don’t know when it will be ready…
As suzukimom said, our next features are sharing resource you enter with others, copying a resource to a new one, and keeping track of books with multiple editions. To be honest, we’re a bit frustrated that we haven’t been able to release these features sooner and move on to more. But that’s the nature of software development sometimes.
In light of that, I should mention that we’re looking for an additional software developer to help speed up the process. I’m planning on posting a fuller list of requirements later, but please let me know if you know anyone who would be interested in contract work and knows Ruby on Rails really well.
In another life I developed websites, sometimes it just seemed that even a simple change could cause other problems and take a lot of time to correct. Unfortunately I worked with PHP, I’ve only dabbled with Rails. Wonder how long it would take to learn it …
My dh also does/did websites & programming, but Ruby on Rails is one I’ve never heard him even mention. I’ll ask him, though. Not sure he has time to devote to it, though. But I’ll ask him.
