Skippack School

    Hey, y’all!  My son and I just finished Marguerite de Angeli’s Skippack School.  He absolutely loved it and is very sad it’s over.  Can y’all recommend anything similar?  I think he related to Eli since he struggled with reading and liked to make things by hand.  He liked the character of Master Christopher and that Indians popped up every once in awhile.  I’m kind of drawing a blank for other titles like this.  My son is 7.

    We really enjoyed all of Margeurite de Angeli’s books. You might try reading others written by her.
