@marmiemama, there’s already a wish list option from the old site. If you’re logged in, you should see a link to add the item to your wish list underneath the Add to Cart button.
The site looks beautiful! Great work, SCM staff! I was looking for the journal planner and could only find it (out of stock though) through a search. It’s listed under Habits and Parenting, but if I directly click that link, the planner is not there on the page.
The calendar journal didn’t show up on the page because it’s out of stock. I just changed that so out of stock items show on the catalog pages.
A Growing Time was our calendar for school year 2013–2014 so you wouldn’t want that now. We also had one for calendar year 2014 that went out of stock. We won’t be printing any more of those since we’re well into the year now. We try to print just enough for everyone but not be left with expired inventory.
@Doug…will our shopping carts keep items indefinitely on the new site or will there possibly be a wish list option?
I think the cart only keeps items for an hour or so. It has to release the cart because it reserves stock of those items while they are in the cart. We do have a wishlist, though. There is an add to wishlist link under the add to cart button on each product’s page. You can then see your wishlist in your account, which you can get to under the My Account menu. Maybe we should add a wishlist link under the menu too?
@Doug – Clicking through the menus instead of the Quick Links box will become a habit after awhile, no problem. It’s just a matter of what you get used to and, dare I say, habit training? I’d better put “the habit of clicking” on our family schedule for myself, LOL.
By the way, thank you everyone for the encouraging feedback and the reports of broken things. The first gives us the stamina for the second.
So, would you like us to pop in occasionally & bark commands such as, “Drop down and give us 20….links!”
Site looks great! Just a few things I have noticed though (just trying to be helpful).
1. When I click on the drop down box for “blog”, what comes up is a blank white screen with the “Recent Blog Articles” list showing at the bottom in the grey space only after scrolling down. Would you want the latest blog article to be featured in the white space? It looks like the blog page is empty if you don’t know to scroll down to the grey space. 🙁
2. Under “Step by Step Guide” and “Grab one of these ready made plans”, the words are a little jumbled. It has the following pattern for the four sets: “Enrichment Year Ideas 1”. Should it be worded like this: “Enrichment Ideas Year 1”, etc.? It’s a little confusing the way it is now. (I have looked at it so long the old way that it seems peculiar.)
Have a great day and thank you for all the hard work the SCM team does.
Yes Doug, its working on my phone now also! Thanks for all your work!

Hi Doug,
Just wanted to let you know that when I pull up the site on Mozilla Firefox, the top blue bar of the page looks like what I assume it’s supposed to look like….SimplyCharlotteMason.com on the left and the menus and such on the right side. However, when I pull it up on Internet Explorer, the top blue bar looks different. Everything is in the same place as it is on Firefox except the Home, Bookstore, My Account, Contact, and Shopping Cart line is all the way to the left under “SimplyCharlotteMason.com” and the “About” is over the “.com”. Hope that makes sense. If you can pull the site up on both IE and Firefox, you should be able to see what I’m talking about.
I saw someone was looking for samples, as was I. I found that if you google the name of the book you want to see and then add “sample” at the end, it takes you to the pdf… if you are in need, this works for now!
