    Not anymore Doug!

You just teased us with new resources too!

    Oh, you tease!

Please just don’t finish the changes to history module 6 until….say, maybe Christmas? because I have spent the last couple of months tracking down the books listed through Paperback Swap, libraries, used book sales, interlibrary loan, used curriculum fairs, homeschooling friends, more used book sales……Tongue out

….and I would just have to bang my head against the wall multiple times if the recommended rescources changed just a couple of weeks into the school year!  (I plan NOT to look at the history module 6 list for several months after I finish this year’s planning–just in case!)

YES, I KNOW THAT I AM NOT OBLIGATED TO USE THE BOOKS LISTED THERE….I’m just a little obsessed….don’t want to miss a single, wonderful living book, ya know?

I don’t think we have any significant changes planned to the curriculum guide at this time.

    Yes, you got me. Smile

If you look in the menus on the main website you might spot what we’ll be releasing tomorrow.

That book looks amazing. Great job once again SCM. I already printed a Book of Centuries, but I may have to order this anyway. This is my first year with SCM, and I absolutely love the resources available. We are using all SCM resources/books except for math and grammar. Congrats on another “wow” product.

With regards to the changes, will there be any changes to the home page of SCM? I would love to see all the products offered by SCM in alphabetical order. It would make searching for them a lot more simple. At least for me 😉

Also kudos to Christie Groff. (You may recognize her from here on the forum.) This is based on a book of centuries she developed and shared with us. We then worked with her to refine it and figure out how to make something of really nice quality that was still affordable.

We’re actually going to remove most of the products from the home page and just feature a few to reduce the clutter. But the good news is that we’ll be introducing a new catalog page that will make it easier to find the resources you want. Giving you a choice of sorting is on the list of things we want to provide but it might not be in the first set of changes.

Oh, MissCeeGee–yes! I peeked at the samples for the new book of centuries, and it looks wonderful!

SueMom23 – You are so kind. Thank you. I’m hopeful that some will find it useful. Sonya and the SCM team are so wonderfully gracious, encouraging and helpful. I love how they embrace ideas from others and help make them even better.

We’re only doing a family BOC right now as my oldest is only 10, but I am looking forward to using these for years to come.

    Blessings,

    Christie
