Does anyone have experience with these or able to give a good comparison/opinion?
I learned of Simply Music on this forum and have been seriously thinking of getting it. But, I was at my brother’s house a couple weeks ago and his wife has Learn and Master Piano to start with their kids this year. Now I’m not sure which one to get. Is one better than the other?
I think my father in law is going to get a program for our girls and we just this week got a keyboard that they can learn on. Now I need to make a decision and tell my father in law what I want so that we can get it here before we start school in a couple of weeks.
I do not know the age or reading abilities of your kiddos, so this may not be an issue. I went with Simply Music this past year mainly because my ds8, now 9, was not reading yet, and was struggling with that, so it didn’t seem like I should get a program that would require learning to read music to play. Its been great and got him playing several songs so that a fellow cubscout family asked about it after hearing him play. I let them borrow it over the summer. Now that he seems to have gotten his brain in gear for reading, I’m switching to a program that does teach music reading, as I do want him to learn that. Anyway, Simply Music is a good way to begin learning music and actually playing music without having to start out reading music, if that may be problematic for a particular kiddo.
