Has anyone used Seven Sisters Curriculum?  The homeschool program where most of these classes are taught live is about 50 minutes from us.  It could be drivable if I wanted to drag my younger ones up and down the state, but I don’t!  Also, the cost is pretty steep for most of the classes, yet the guides are made quite affordable as downloads.  They now have them available for the kindle, which is great.  Thinking about the essay writing and research paper writing guides specifically.  Less expensive than Analyical Grammar’s guides, but am wondering if anyone here has had any experience with some of their resources?

I have never heard of this program but here is a positive review from a  very reputable source…

Benita,  did you end up using their program?  Pros/cons??

I did not use it. I decided it just wasn’t worth the time lost in driving 50 minutes each way in the middle of a school day and losing time with the younger ones too. I seem to decide this rather often. For us, spending loads of time in the car and away from a regular schedule just for a class for one or two students just doesn’t seem wise. So far, God has provided alternatives that meet our needs and give success. We stuck with AG part three beyond the book report.  It is working fine.
