Searching this forum

Call me stupid…but I cannot figure out how to search anymore!  Surely there is a way I’m just not seeing??!?

I don’t think search has been updated yet.  I have had success with using a general search engine like Google and typing in:

Simply Charlotte Mason forum

And then typing the key words.

Earlier today I had a hard time finding a maps site I had linked to in an old post so I added my username to the search and found it.

We completely removed the forum search temporarily since it was just not working at all. It will reappear in the sidebar once we get it fixed.

The way I was searching is no longer working for me!

Any tips on how to successfully search now?

I use Google. I type in my subject (example: Right Start math) then type Simply Charlotte Mason.

Also, typing in scmforum works very well if you don’t want to type the whole thing for Simply Charlotte Mason.  Furthermore, if you recall a certain thread had posts from one of our forum pros (like a golf pro???), you can add–oh, let’s say, missceegee to your search, and you’ll get lots of specific threads she’s posted on.

We don’t have a private messaging feature available right now. That feature is waiting on a software update to the forum.

Okay, the problem was that I was searching with Bing instead of Google – BIG difference in results.  I found what I was looking for now.  Thanks.
