What are some of your favorite resources for studying sea life – other than apologia. I’m looking for true living books.

    Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Smithsonian Oceanic Collection books – you can see some here.

Those look great but I need some for upper elementary too.  Kiss

Don’t be fooled by the covers. I got them for my ds7 last year, but my dd10 who is a very advanced reader, enjoyed them, too.

    Some other suggestions:

    • Shark Lady
    • Dolphin Adventure: A true story
    • Blue Planet dvds – these are fantastic
    • All about Sharks by Jim Arnosky (any of his books are TERRIFIC!)

I’ll try to remember other titles we’ve enjoyed and post them.

    Blessings,

    Christie
