We have these.  They are word for word scripture along with the reference which I love since I have a hard time remembering references.  They’re well done, but they’re contemporary, so if you don’t like that type of music, you won’t enjoy these.  Some are too heavy for us.  In fact I’ve put them away for awhile because I don’t want my 8yo boys to get too much of an appetite for that type of music.  Teens who listen to contemporary Christian music will really like them.

I also meant to say that each scripture is repeated three times so learning the verses is very easy.  There are samples on the website.  Click on a CD cover and then the scripture you’d like to hear.

This is the Harrow Family.  A++ music.  When you go to their site you can click on their albums and listen to a sampling of the songs and read the lyrics.  Also:

Jamie Soles is good for memorizing, too.  Click on discography on his site to check out the different albums.  The Way My Story Goes is a great one.

I second Forever Grateful Music: Scripture Memory Songs “Hide the Word” series. We have several and enjoy them immensely.

Agreeing with JuliaAa above,  Sing the Word CDs by the Harrow family are wonderful productions!  I think their music is almost as good for the mind as the scripture itself 😉

We just either make up a tune or set the scripture to a tune we already know!
