Will you ever develop more books for this series? Our son is loving this approach to math, and is eager for more. His suggestions have included:

    – operating a theme park
    – operating a ski resort
    – operating an aquarium
    – carpentry/building a house (could really bring in other areas like geometry, volume etc…)
    – farming

He also thought it would be neat to have something focused on math in the ancient days (building pyramids, aquaducts, ancient farming with crops etc…), which could tied in really well with the first history guide!

Also, our younger daughter (grade 1), is truly wishing there were younger versions for her, ones that focused on simpler tasks, with perhaps more just the basics of addition, subtraction, simple fractions, measuring etc…  Some of her ideas were:

    – running a bake shop (fractions, measuring, temperature)
    – going on vacation (having a vacation budget, and trying to keep track of costs/expenses, could do work with measuring distance etc…)

Anyways, thought I would pass on an interested clientele’s thoughts and opinions. This approach to math has taken my son from dreading math, whining about it, making mistakes to being engaged and interested in math in a way I never thought possible. He is actually asking to do math first, it’s now his favorite subject.

I’m so glad to hear that your son is enjoying his math store! We have tossed around some ideas for expanding the series someday, but we don’t have anything definite on the radar at this point. I love the ideas your children offered! We will keep them on file for that potential “someday”! Thanks so much!
