So, I really want to purchase this {and thought I posted this question earlier, so if I’m double posting please forgive me!!} and want to know if the DVD is necessary and/or if it ads to the book. In otherwords if I read the book will it differ from Sonja’s chat on the dvd? I love listening to Sonja’s “chats”, they are always so amazing, but because I’m going to order a few other things if it doesn’t add much to the book I might skip it..
Also, is this chat repeated in the All Day Seminar? That’s one of the other things I’m thinking of purchasing.. so if the Planning chat is in there then I know I’d be good with only the book. Help? Advice? Opinions?

I loved it and purchased both. I don’t remember it being repeated. The all day seminar is about Charlotte’s methods and implementing them, the Planning is how to plan those subjects and organize your school day. I am not sure how you would fair with just the book, because I had both. The book does do some explaining like a summary, but the video explains more in depth. I am sure you could do with out the DVD if you had to.

You can do it without the DVD. Lots of us have – the advantage to the book is that it contains the forms… =)

I purchased both and LOVED them both! I really love the DVD because Sonya explains things so well, and the book was great because it had the forms!

I purchased both the DVD and book and it was well worth the money and LOVED it! I don’t have the all day seminar so I can’t speak to that point.

I have both as well.
I think that it might depend on how you learn or absorb info. I needed both and am glad that I have the book part and the explainer part, meaning Sonya, but that’s just me. I think this book could be used without the dvd, if necessary.
