For those who use SCM’s planner, what do you love about it? Do you use it mostly just for your appointments like a regular calendar & to-do’s? Anything unique you’ve started doing with yours?
I used the SCM paper planner a few years ago (“A Thinking Love” version, whatever year that was), but I’m thinking maybe I’ll but the new “More Is Less” one that was just released. Especially since the topic is so close to my heart, I’m even more motivated, but I have been using paper planners for the past several years after getting away from digital again. (If you haven’t looked at the sample pages, the first essay is just like Sonya’s opening to the new “More Is Less” talk!)
I just looked at the sample of this journal and have to say that I appreciate how the weeks are listed Sunday – Saturday. So many commercial planners/calendars lump Saturday/Sunday together at the end if the week (“weekend” I suppose).
Any chance of making this 8.5 x11? Just thinking it would be a convenient to place loose papers in that need to be signed/completed/turned in, etc.
I’m liking this smaller sized one. It’s much easier to carry around, whether that be by hand or in my bag.
I’ve just started using mine. I will be getting the new one to follow the school yr, which works much better for me. I know that means I will be getting a new one when I’ve just purchased this one, but between the themed info and the calendar that better follows what we need, it’s worth it. This one that I have will still give me plenty of use.
I would love it if it was a bit less, but I still like it. If you like a wall calendar, then this is probably more than you would want/need. I’m getting used to having more so I can’t say too much about how to use it.
I’m realy liking the messages each month and the quotes on each page. I guess I think of it like Lesson Planners or Student Record books – there are lots of good ones, but each w/ parts I like and others I can leave.
I’m getting used to it and like it.
