Although I have been reading about the Charlotte Mason method for years, I have just decided to dive in with my 9 year old, academically bright (8th grade), non-verbal son and spunky, high-energy 1st grade daughter. We have chosen to proceed with the Early Modern & Epistles study this year and I really like the samples I have been reading. I read that the guide would include hands-on activities, but that seems to only include the Book of Centuries.
My daughter loves doing things with her hands but I need plans to be laid out more. Am I missing the hands-on projects that accompany the reading? In the past I have crafted all the plans, but my husband and I decided that I need to spend less time planning and more doing.
Can anyone clarify things a little more?
