I am starting to work on next year’s plan. This year DS read independently CLP Nature Reader 4 and 5 and a YWAM biography of George Washington Carver. I talked to him this afternoon to get a feel for his interests for science next year. He said he likes doing scientist biographies. YWAM doesn’t have any more scientists in their list, but I also like the Sower biographies so he seemed interested in doing Robert Boyle and Isaac Newton. I am trying to come up with 4 total. Any recommendations? I am looking for ones about 200 pages long.

Johannes Kepler by John Hudson Tiner (sower series)

Archimedes and the door of science-Jeane Bendick

She also wrote a book about Galileo.

Joy McPherson books are well liked.

We liked the childhood of famous Americans book about Henry ford and their wright brothers book is nice as well.

Thats all I can come up with off the top of my head. Sorry for the brevity-I’m on my phone.
