Does anyone have any suggestions on how to assign a certain topic for a certain day of the week, but not assign a specific task/way of study for that topic?

For example, I want to do Artist Study on Mondays, Hymn Study on Wednesday, etc. but don’t want to have it list a certain book, artist, etc. for each subject.  I just want Artist Study, etc. to show up on my schedule for Monday so that I remember to do that on that day.  Does this make sense?

Yes, I do this for some subjects, like poetry.  I just make a resource with no divisions, titled for example “Poetry” and schedule it whatever days I want to do it.  Then I just click “worked on” when I remember to do it.  🙂  I can see at a glance on a report how often I am remembering it.

We also have a video showing how this works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGFB-2DJQp8

You can use the assignment notes to jot down what was done if you’d like to record what resources you ended up using.
