Since it’s the time of year that lots of people are working on gearing up for the new school year, I thought I’d share this post on how I am approaching scheduling for our school this year.
Yes, thanks for sharing! We do school 6 days a week, but have lighter days. My hubby works Saturdays so it is easy for us to play catch up or work on a project. Looking forward to post #2!
Love your scheduling….seems to take some of the ‘clutter’ out. I can get overwhelmed by the pure volume of CM-style subjects….you’ve done a great job streamlining and making things just a part of regular life! :)Gina
I like the way you’ve done this. It is similar to what we do, but I love your idea of not thinking Monday-Friday. I need to revisit this concept after seeing yours done! We often miss a day here and there due to hospitalizations and/or picking dandelions at the park (love it!). Thanks for sharing!
Mamasnow thank you for sharing! Love the day idea, i will definately try it…it seems that it would take the edge off of getting it all in, in a week, I can get overwhelmed…thank you again!!
Thanks so much. I have been using numbered days as well, but I love Day 6! That really helps to get them done without constantly saying, “Oops. Forgot to do that….again.”
It looks great…thanks for sharing! I’m working on our daily schedules right now and it’s given me some ideas to consider. I really like the weekly planning sheet!
Glad y’all have found it helpful. Took me much trial and error to land on this, so hopefully some of these ideas might save some you that same process of trial and error. =)
I have a new baby coming in 2 months. That will make 8 children under 15! I have been worried about fitting everything into a “week”, so I really like your idea about numbering the days, I will give that some thought and prayer. Thanks you!
