    I’m so thankful I popped back in today after a very long break from the forum. I was specifically going to ask questions about Ourselves for our soon to be 7th grader. Wonderful discussion. I’d vote Parent guide, but I like the back of the book question suggestion with a division of pages over terms in the meantime. Haven’t even gotten that far in the planning process, but I think we’ll lean to the 4 year option instead of 2.

    I have to tell you ladies, I had mentioned to someone (arrogantly) that I wasn’t going to read Ourselves with our children.  That all hard core people believe you need to read vol 4 with your students sometime in middle or highschool.  It was a flippant comment that came after a very negative experience with “purists”.  I prayed about it, I researched it, I prayed some more and was convicted about my attitude.  It was decided to begin this book with my son this year (yr 7) and I am ever so thankful I did.  It truly is the most approachable book of CM’s collection IMO.  Or perhaps this Momma needed the book herself.  lol.  Either way, I don’t believe you’d do wrong or waste time by reading this gem.
