Ok.. I just wanted to put this out there.

Today on our way home from doing a LOT of running we were 2 cars behind a semi that hit a minivan.  I called 911 right away and I’m very emotionally drained from this.  It’s a long story that I don’t want to write and I hope you can understand.

But the officer just called and after talking I asked about the van, (I couldn’t stay and watch and the kids where with) 2 of the 3 didn’t make it and the other is in critical condition.  The reason I am writing I guess is just to say how greatful I am to the Lord for each of my days, to ask you to pray for the family of the van and the man who hit the van (got out and RAN to try and help).  The Lord only truely knows what happen, so I don’t want to try and guess.  But I know that all partys involved need healing and prayers.  Also for me and my children as this was a very scary witnessing.

Thanks for listening it’s really rattled me and made me gratefull for what I have right now. Misty

Things like this bring home to us that we don’t know how long we have on this beautiful earth and how grateful and blessed we should be for every minute God gives us.  Bless you and all those involved in the accident, I will pray for all.  Misty, relax and take some time to get over what must be a shock and keep an eye on your children to make sure they are not suffering from what they may have seen.  God bless you all.

Misty, my father was killed in a car accident and your concern about the victims, strangers to you, fills my heart with gratitude. Though my father didn’t live long after the impact, I’ll be forever grateful for the strangers who helped by calling 911 and who comforted him. Thank you for your compassion and caring spirit.

Esby, so sorry to hear about your father, what a terrible thing for you.  My husband lost his father when he was 11 years old, and even today he grieves for the lost years, so my heart goes out to you.  You must be comforted to know people cared for him to the end.  You are right, the people who take time to comfort and show compassion for the victims of accidents are true angels on earth.  Blessings to you and Misty. Misty, I hope you and your children are doing better today.  Linda
