I’m trying to set up a schedule for my three children. Can anyone explain whether they do Bible in the context of “Genesis to Deuteronomy; Ancient Egypt” and then do more Bible daily? I would appreciate insight into what people do for seperate Biblr studies. Thank you:)
The Bible in the Guide is used as history. So it would really depend if you want your kids doing something for spiritual growth as well. I think that is going to change family to family.
When we used that level, we continued with Bible memory work and our regular family devotions. I felt like it was enough Bible study for the year. My children were 10 and under at the time.
We do a devotion in the morning which varies day to day but includes hymn singing, a bible passage or just a devotion. For devotion I use different books such as George Mueller and the Orphans of Bristol or right now we are reading In His Steps. I don’t read it every morning but vary things. I have also included in this morning time character training with books such as How to Make Brothers and Sisters Best Friends and The Young Peacemaker.
