    What age are those books for? Seems like a really nice history list 🙂

    Usually most are from ages 12 and up, except the Viking ones and Black Ships…and Odyssey could be appreciated by a 10 yr. old. There are some I’m not aware of here that also may be good for 10 yr. olds.

    Sutcliff is a master storyteller. Her books are an excellent choice for historical fiction. Thanks for the chronological list. Don’t think I’ve seen it before.

    Do approach some of these with caution.  Read the summaries carefully.  I especially do not recommend Sword at Sunset for children.  We enjoy many of these immensely but I have learned to review them myself.
