    Robin,

Do you have a complete list of these? Also, are the new paperbacks the same if that’s all I can find for some?

What about the Signature series, do you have a list of those?

Oh, I just realized these lists may be in my Jan Bloom books, too. However, a digital list would still be great.

    Thanks,

For online book lists, Valerie is a tremendous resource.  Her main site:

And don’t try to get ALL of them.  Some of the ones that go for the big $$ are just not worth it.  It’s more of a “collector” thing.  For practical purposes–yes, get the ones you would like to have/use.  Don’t spend large amounts on one just to finish a collection.

Michele, thank you again. I have the link to Valerie’s main site, but did not find the other. That will be beneficial to me and help me to remember what’s available.

How did you know I like to collect almost as much as I like to read? I am doing a better job at reining myself in on sets, however. I purchased A Picturesque Tale of Progress in excellent condition for a steal 2 or so years ago and we’ve NEVER used it at all.

Yes, Valerie’s site has them as does Jan Bloom’s first volume.  BTW, Jan’s book omits the Stephen Decatur Signature and, I believe, Jaqueline Kennedy.  As far as I know, the pb reprints are the same.  I have all the Signatures and all of the Landmarks except 3-4.  I DO have the rare Captain Kidd!!  BUT avoid the ones written by Fosdick.  He wrote the ones on Paul, Jesus and Martin Luther.  He did not believe in the deity of Christ and I’ve read that he wrote these books with that agenda.

Other series I’m trying to complete are:

    Garrard Discovery (almost done)

    COFA’s

    Piper

    North Star

    Winston Adventures

    American Adventures (the old series)

But I collect for the purpose of the library rather than strictly our own use.  That’s how I justify it at least.  Wink
