    Hey Ruth – what did you mean by RS jumping around?

     

    I’ve found that often a change in topics actually backs up the concepts being taught…. so counting by 5’s is learned, for example – and then for a while the lessons are on time – but there is counting by 5’s to learn the minutes….  etc.

    Wings2fly – does RS have other sales in December, too?  I am hoping to purchase the manipulatives and Level A package.

    I know you can contact them and see if they have any “gently used” items at a discount – items that were returned but not really used, or items viewed at a curriculum fair, etc….

    Yes, they have had other manipulatives on sale in December for the past 2 years. Of course I do not know about this year for sure. That is how I bought most of our items. I bought the teacher’s guides used at other sites though. homeschoolclassifieds, RS yahoo group, ebay.
