I know with doing a CM education there are not alot of worksheets, etc to worry about. The only worksheets we do is with our Handwriting without tears wich is a very easy and short worksheet a few times a week. The right Start level A came with worksheets but it really doesn’t tell you when to do a worksheet etc, in the teachers manual. Do you just do them whenever you feel the child is ready?

Level A doesn’t get into worksheets until later. At first its mostly hands-on with manipulatives. Don’t worry – you’ll get to them. 🙂

It does say, it just takes a while to get to them in Level A.  Level B’s are few and far between, as well, but it does tell you when to use them.

Thanks guys! Thats the pubilc school coming out in me!LOL! worried about worksheets. The Level A seems almost too easy for my son so we may be switching to Level B soon but it does cover alot of things that we never introduced to my son in public school.

    Alicia,

We use the workbooks that come with HWT! I guess I consider that a worksheet since it’s done as part of the lesson plan, etc. It’s called My printing Book! Is that consider worksheets?

caycecronk – yes, that happened w/my son too. We just moved really quickly through the first bit of lessons. was worth it for us to stay in A I think, but if you think he needs to move on you really could move up to B pretty easily. I don’t think you/he would miss a whole lot. I’m starting A with my younger son, who just turned 5, but its a good fit for him since he’s so young and has no math experience. He doesn’t even write well, which my older son did when he was at this age. Just a perspective – hope it helps. 🙂
