I, too, am hoping to start in July. Is there any way SCM could do a prepublication sale, and send those who purchase the module the first few weeks of lessons as an e-file, so we can get started while waiting for the final copy? 😉
We are 1/3 of the way through module 2, but I have done some switching as some of the books–especially Exploring the Holy Land–was too much for my kids at this point. How hard would it be to switch to the revised guide if we are mid stream? Would you recommend switching or not? Thanks!
The new Joshua through Malachi and Ancient Greece lesson plan book is in final proofreading stage and should go to the printer very soon. If everything stays on track, you should have it in just a few weeks.
For those of you who are concerned that it might not get to you in time, contact us if you still haven’t seen it when the time gets closer and we’ll try to get the sample posted early, so you will have the first few lesson plans.
@3fallingleaves: You could probably jump into the main history lessons if you look for the Greek name of where you left off with Famous Men. Geography you could probably catch up quickly. Bible lessons are pretty much the same. The toughest part would be the individual readings, but if you weren’t too worried about finishing everything at a certain date, you could just start in to the individual books and enjoy them at your own pace.
Yay for almost being ready! We’re in the situation of many above….almost ready for Module 2. Will the new geography resources be done at the same time?
I’m so happy that I’m being “forced” to purchase Hungry Planet and Material World. I once checked out Hungry Planet from the library and I couldn’t put it down.
