Does anyone have any creative ways you check for retention and/or review material presented?

EDIT: I’m looking for ways aside from the immediate narrations we do.

We like to use games for review. There are all kinds: math, geography, history, phonics, etc. Also BrainQuest cards are fun for setting up your own Trivia type game show.

Thank you mj, and thank you Doug – I don’t know how I missed the Assessment series. I think at the time it was posted, I wasn’t concerned about it 🙂 so I probably just skimmed through it and in my very ‘short term memory’ is where it rested (and died) 😆 .
