Replacing books in Mod 6?

    What I can I use in place of The Brooklyn Bridge, The Empire State Building, and The Hoover Dam?  My library doesn’t have these.

    There are some videos on you tube that were a nice addition. Just look for something that details the vision, construction and has pictures. 🙂

    If you have netflix, there is a show called “The Seven Wonders of the Industrial World”.  There are 7 episodes, and one is The Brooklyn Bridge, and one is The Hoover Dam.   (And the others would be at a similar time period, and are interesting….)

    (I’m not sure the age of your kids – be aware that a lot of people died constructing these wonders….)

    Note – this is streaming netflix, in Canada.  I’m assuming that if we are lucky enough to have it in Canada (and it isn’t a Canadian show) – that you probably have it in the US…..
