Help me improve my teen daughter’s handwriting. It’s horrendous. What do I do? Daily copy work? What should I have her copy?

Charlotte encouraged students to keep a Book of Mottoes – a book where they were daily, or frequently, writing a sentence or passage from one of their readings. Something that inspired them. Regular practice may help her improve her handwriting.   You can learn more about the Book of Mottoes, or Commonplace Book here: https://simplycharlottemason.com/blog/getting-started-with-a-book-of-mottoes/

I would also add, in addition to the above comment, using a book series like Pentime Cursive to help her work on letter formation through repetitive practice alongside examples.

Our Daughter loved the Pentime Cursive.
