Redwall serie

    I am a little desapointed, I thought I had found a good serie for my son to read.

    He really liked the first book (Redwall) and could not finish Lordbrock (which is suppose to be the second book Chronologicaly).

    For those who are familiar w/this serie, are there some better than others? Wondering if we should try other ones??

    My 11yo daughter read them all and enjoyed them. Not sure if she had any particular favorites though.

    Here is my 10 year old son’s answer…

    “You don’t have to read them in order, but Mossflower should be next after Redwall.  The best ones are Mossflower, Marlfox, The Rogue Crew, The Legend of Luke, The Long Patrol, High Rulain, Outcast of Redwall, the Pearls of Lutra,  and Rackety Tam.  Those are my favorite ones.”

    And my answer…

    My oldest daughter loves these.  (and she also said that they don’t have to be read in order)  She recommended them to my son who loved them so much that he has bought the whole series with his allowance money.  All of my kids LOVE the Redwall series that is on Netflix.  My 11 year old daughter can’t stand the books, and she is my most mature and voracious reader.  She just doesn’t like reading about animals.   So, bottom line, maybe they just aren’t your son’s cup of tea.  But if he wants to try one more, Max says it should be Mossflower.   😉
