We wanted you ladies to be the first to know that we have given our free SCM Curriculum Guide a facelift. So many of you thanked us for posting the new book lists in list-format, rather than chart-format, that we thought the Curriculum Guide might be handier if we switched it to lists.
While we were at it, we had some ideas to make it simpler to put together your year’s plan using the Guide. So take a look and let us know what you think.
Thank you for leaving the old one up too!! I think I may be in the minority and prefer it that way – so thank you for leaving it up for me to be able to refer to!
Actually Laura, I like the old one too – but I like the new one too! I love the overview of the chart. It is great for my visual preferences. But I love the new one for the going through each area. Kind of a step-by-step plan….
I do like it. It is easy to go through and pick and choose what to use. Though, I also like the old one and the ability to see all 12 years and all subjects at once. So, thank you for keeping that one accessible. I am glanced at the “Enrichment Years” and am going to have to go back to them when I have more time. Thank for all y’alls work to make homeschooling easier for all of us.
I agree, the old one has a nice ‘at a glance’ feel, but I know part of that is just familiarity at this point. I actually had a hard time making heads or tails of the old one, years ago, when I first stumbled upon SCM. I wrote off the whole site for a while because of it. I think the new version is much more clear and inviting for newcomers. Thank you kindly for all the hard work that you’ve put into everything SCM team! I just placed my big order for next school year, and I’m so excited to have it come!
