recommended books

    Should every book on the recommended book list be read in a year? It seems to be a long list for some of the subjects. With short lessons, it seems like there wouldn’t be enough time to read them all. Or is this just a recommended list to choose from, and we have them read what is of most interest to them?

    Hi, Barb –

    The books listed in the curriculum guide are just suggestions. Use them as best fits your family and each child. You can pick and choose from the list, or decide to read only portions from some of the books, or whatever works in your situation.

    Thank you so much. I definitely feel less overwhelmed now. I can’t wait to get started with CM. I really appreciate what you guys are doing. In my search of CM your site has been of the most help to me. I consider you all as a blessing from God. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
