My yr. 1 son is eager to use a magnifying glass during our nature study walks.
Decent, durable, does the job well …

I got ours at Joann’s (fabric store) and it is nice, durable, good sized, and came with a cover. I can’t recall how much I spent since it was a few years ago, but I bought two since I have four children, so it surely wasn’t too expensive (probably used a coupon too!).
I just ordered this for my 4yo’s bday present — haven’t received it yet, so no word on the quality. But it’s reasonably priced and has sturdy looking tweasers with it.
We have these loupes (we got 6 for me and my two sons) from The Private Eye and LOVE them. We take them out all the time. We’ve had them for ~5 years and they are still in perfect condition.
