    I have a question about recitation. I know that they are supposed to recite poems/hymns/Bible story or passage. However, I forgot how long they are supposed to stay on each one. Is it 4 weeks on the same poem then move to 4 weeks on a hymn and then 4 weeks on a Bible passage and then move to teh next grouping of 4 weeks each on a DIFFERENT poem/hymn/Bible?

    We work on a Bible passage until they know it – sometimes 3 weeks, sometimes 6 weeks.  If I sense they’re just not getting it and are getting discouraged, we move on and circle back to the “hard” one later.

    We work on a Bible passage always; a poem every once in a while; a hymn always.  The passage/poem/hymn are not synchronized.  So we might get a new hymn and still be doing the “old” passage and or poem.

    That’s just how we do it.
