Real Science 4 Kids

    I just purchased Real Science 4 Kids and LOVE IT!!! I was wondering if any has ever used it with the KOGS? I have one of the KOGS for physics and it seems like it’s very CM friendly in that it builds a connection to other topics. Just curious as to what you all think.

    @kymom, I have wanted to try this science for my kiddos as well.  Can you share what age your children are and what you LOVE about it??

    We have Real Science 4 Kids also, and my oldest girls (12 and 10) love it.  It takes the sometimes difficult to understand concepts of chemistry and physics and explains them in ways that are easy for them to grasp.  The experiments are fun and simple.  I have read that some moms find it a lot of work/preparation, but I have not had this problem with it. 

    We have not tried the KOGS, however.

    We are just starting with the  chemistry, my boys ages are 9, 10 and 13. They really like that there are  fun experiments each week, and I second houseofchaos’s thoughts on how it breaks down the points so that it’s easy to understand. I decided to get a few of the KOGS for chemistry after looking at them online. I think it will work well with our family.

    I am interested in hereing more. I am doing Science Scope. It is simple but it seems so simple and I am not sure what to do about experiments yet. 🙂
