Do any of you have or know of a printable / free download for keeping a reading log or journal.  Not to journal my thoughts or quotes like a commonplace book.  This would be so that when I pre read library books on the middle ages for 2 years from now or browse 6 different children’s books on Van Gogh I have a record of the basic book info and my own rating of it as a living book.  Also for when we happen to read a fabolous book like Boy of the Pyramids I can record it and put a big gold star in the top corner for “Remember to read this with ds 6 years from now!” LOL

I found this book which would be similar but I just want to print out the pages for in a binder I think.  If I can’t find one I’ll probably make/copy this style.

The first link is for the picture of the pages, this is the actual book.

This doesn’t fit your description exactly but when I find a book I want to read at some point later on I put it on my Amazon Homeschooling wish list. I have to remember to search it from time to time but it is very easy to do. I have a list for myself also, for non-homeschooling things. It also makes it easy so I can either order it or get the info I need to request it through interlibrary loan.

I also think you could do this with GoodReads online.

I keep a paper 5 subject notebook with notes on school books in it. But I divided the sections further to provide space for me to organize 10 subjects. Sometimes I print a list and tape it in there; but it is mostly my notes and lists and dates for when which child did or will use what book/resource.
