I see that this curriculum guide is being updated. I wondered when it would be available, or can I order the old one now? (I’ll be doing e-book as I am international) I am a little confused about what to order with it, if I order now, as the Oxford book will be scheduled, not the Ancient Egypt and her Neighbors.
This may be an odd question, but why is the first Nancy Gantz book on Genesis not needed?
Also, will we be okay if I cannot get the Peter Menzel books and some others. They are just way too pricey here. We have quite a few of the other books.
*sneaks in to whisper* We are rearranging things for the release of the new version today. So the page says Out of Stock while we move things around to get them into place. *glances around to see who heard that secret update*
The first Nancy Gantz book is not listed because it was not available when I wrote the lesson plans originally, and because I didn’t want to incorporate a commentary all year long. The Genesis study already included a character study component, which provides a nice change of pace. I’m sure the Genesis commentary is just as good as the others.
The Peter Menzel books are featured in several lessons in the new Visits to Africa map notebook (actually, they will be featured in all the new map notebooks). You could skip those lessons if you don’t have those books, and you’re always welcome to substitute different living books that are available to you. We’ll have the sample for Visits to Africa up later today *glances around again* so you can take a look and see how those books are used.

Hard to whisper, when everyone that hears jumps up and down yelling WooHoo!
Oh, yippee. I thought would have to rethink everything again, but this is wonderful news. Thank you so much. I look forward to seeing the Africa Notebook especially as we’re from South Africa 😉
