Last year we did RR +, -, x. This year I am starting division. We normally school 4 days/week. Do you think it would be too much to add an extra practice each day so that RR would only take 4 days? Ex: Monday, listen to CD 2x, Tues and Weds do flashcards 3x, Thurs do 2 worksheets. Last year we did something similar one or two times and it was fine, but would it be too much and rush things to do it every week? Thanks for your thoughts

I think you’d be ok. I did add and sub at same time and then mult and div at same time with my oldest.

Speaking of Rapid Recall, I am using this with my 9 year old this year for addition facts and it’s really working! Thank you Missceegee for this recommendation. She isn’t hating math anymore and beginning to think she is actually kinda good at math ; )

Thanks. We’re going to try the 4 day schedule.
RR worked well with one of my girls. She got really quick at the ones we have done. My other DD learned them and then went promptly back to seeming like we’d never learned them. We’ve discovered that she is right-brained and needs other methods.
