Target has these games on sale right now and I’m in a game mode for Christma (I’ve already purchased 3 inexpensive ones), but not sure which of these to get.
I know the Sequence for Kids would really be for my youngest ds, but the other ones are in his age group as well, well, except for Bananagrams (he’s in the beginning stages of DR).
We already have lots of games but they’re getting old and I know my dc would like some new ones, so would I.
Quirkle and Blokus are favorites here that can be played by a wide age range. We also have Bananagrams but for some reason it isn’t as beloved as the others. I don’t believe they have it at Target, but Gobblet has been hugely popular hereas well, and the year we got it, everyone from the college boy to the 5-year-old enjoyed playing.
We too LOVE Blokus, though I wish you could play with more than 4 players (we usually have to team up). I’ve been looking at Quirkle – Do any of you have the Mindware CUBE Quirkle? I’m wondering which one is funner – the board game or cubes. Thanks.
We, too, very much enjoy Blokus and Qwirkle. I have been eyeing Goblet, but have refrained…. maybe now is the time to take a second look at that one – and find out more about Quelf. I don’t think I’ve heard of that one.
We love Blockus but are missing pieces and I can’t seem to get ahold of the company to get more:0( I might just buy a new board?
We have Quelf in both age groups and my kids LOVE this also. It’s fun and funny. I love games but find it hard to play with the younger ones. So now that my older ones are getting to the point to play a “serious” game I am loving it.
I believe we have mideware cube Qwirkle? I’ll have to double check.
Thanks Misty. I have a friend who has Quelf and they love it too. Target has it for about $10 less than reg. price. My middle boy saw her’s and wanted it just for the character pieces (he’s 9, but totally into characters, lol.).
