I love the organizer first 🙂 my first question is I tried to enter all my books at the same time, so now when my daily comes up all the books come up. I’ve tried using the “start after” and “goes with” I’m afraid I just plain screwed up. So now on my daily I have all the books for that subject showing up instead of just the books I need at the time. Is that the way it is suppose to be? Is there a way to delete everything and start over? Should I just wait to enter the books as we are using them instead of all of them at the same time? I guess I need to go to youtube and look at the videos yet again 🙁
You shouldn’t have to cancel and re-enter the books. You can just Edit Schedule for them.
I took a peek at your book list, specifically the History books, and it looks like the issue is that most of them are set to “Use with” Middle Ages, Renaissance & Reformation. Now, it’s true that you will use those books with that study, but the Organizer interprets “Use with” to mean “Put on the Daily Plan at the same time,” so that’s why they are all on the Daily Plan together.
Here’s what I would suggest:
Famous Men of the Middle Ages – leave as is (Hooray!)
Famous Men of Renaissance and Reformation – leave as is (Hurrah!)
The Vikings – change to a start date of the Monday of your second week, because it starts in Week 2
Adam of the Road – leave as is (Yippee!)
Ink on His Fingers – change to a start date of the Monday of your ninth week, because it starts in Week 9
Castle – change to Start After Ink on His Fingers
Cathedral – change to Start After Castle
Man Who Laid the Egg – You could set to Start After Cathedral, but there are a couple of weeks between the end of Cathedral and the beginning of Man Who Laid. If you want to be exact, you could set it to a start date of the Monday of your 18th week. Or wait and enter it when you’re done with Cathedral and are ready to add more books during the second term.
Give those changes a try and let me know if they help or just mess things up more. Thanks.
